December 4, 1998 - Gollywog We have added an interview with Albert Yarusso, Programmer for Deus Ex. It's a great read, covering such topics as Deus Ex's UI and tools programming, along with more general discussions about consoles and why console programmers get less respect, advice for beginning programmers, using the Unreal engine, and much more. Hit the 'Interviews' link on the left, and take a look! |

July 14, 1998 - Gollywog Welcome to Stormtrooper's latest edition: Deus Ex Incarnate. Consider this to be your source for all information relating to ION Storm's first RPG to utilize the Unreal Engine. Be looking for Deus Ex sometime Q2 or Q3 of 1999. First things first: head on over to the 'Interviews' section to take a look at the Stormtroopers' interview with Warren Spector and Michelle Bagur, to get some preliminary lowdown on the game. Then hit the 'Media' section to see a nice logo put together by ION Austin. After that, browse the 'Team' section in order to put faces to some of the names that any Ultima/Origin fans are no doubt familiar with. Keep checking back for more updates, interviews, media, and articles concerning Deus Ex and RPG's in general. Also, stop by ION's chat room, either by using the 'Live Online' chat client at ION's site, or using the server www.ionstorm.com and the channel #ion. In the meantime, take a look at GamerzEdge's preview of Deus Ex. Enjoy! |
